Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our thriving GP practice on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment where your clinical expertise will make a real difference every day. You will have the autonomy to manage patient care, including acute presentations and long-term conditions, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. If you are looking for a role that offers variety, professional growth, and the chance to be an integral part of a dynamic clinical team, this position is for you.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients across a range of presentations. You will provide expert care for both acute and long-term conditions, prescribe within your scope of practice, and contribute to the smooth running of the clinical team. You will work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care. Maintaining accurate patient records using SystmOne and supporting the wider team with your clinical expertise are key aspects of the role. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, take clinical responsibility, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes every day.
