A respected and patient-focused GP practice located in Eastbourne is looking to recruit an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join its established and supportive clinical team.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a confident ANP who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a collaborative and welcoming practice environment. The surgery offers flexibility around working days and sessions, with both part-time and full-time applicants encouraged to apply.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide high-quality care to a varied patient population, managing both acute presentations and ongoing health conditions within a modern primary care setting.
The role will involve:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients independently
- Managing same-day and routine appointments
- Prescribing medication where appropriate
- Providing care for patients with chronic diseases
- Delivering face to face and telephone consultations
- Referring patients to secondary care services when required
- Promoting patient wellbeing and preventative healthcare
- Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team
The practice is seeking an ANP who is clinically confident, approachable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Applicants should have:
- Current NMC registration
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Previous primary care or GP surgery experience
- Strong clinical assessment and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Friendly and experienced clinical team
