This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support patients with urgent on day care needs in the local community. The ANP will support General Practitioners and the Multi disciplinary Team to deliver safe, effective and person centred care in a primary care setting, working in GP practices, visiting residents in care homes, or attending to patients in their own homes. The role supports the Four Pillars of Advanced Practice, allowing development of skills in education, mentoring, audit, leadership, and quality improvement.
Applicants are expected to have Masters Level study and attainment of the Advanced Clinical Assessment and Non Medical (V300) qualifications, though candidates without these qualifications will be considered.
Qualifications- Working in an Advanced Practice role and having undertaken MSC (Level 11) Advance Practice studies to PG Dip level or equivalent.
- Being an experienced nurse, educated to degree level, and willing to complete MSC (Level 11) Advance Practice studies to PG Dip level.
- Without a PG Dip, candidates will receive full support, including a clinical supervisor, study time and funding, and a month induction and training programme.
Provide high quality, autonomous care within the wider Health and Social Care Team, utilising clinical judgement and decision making. Support the nursing workforce across GP practices and may, on occasion, be required to work in other allocated areas. The role involves the development of skills in education, mentoring, audit, leadership, and quality improvement.
