Main duties of the job

The role is anall-rounded, patient facing role with triage built in as well as administrationwork which is associated with the role of the ANP. We are seeking individuals to join our teamwho are caring, compassionate and confident, who demonstrate effectivecommunication, excellent clinical assessment skills, IT skills, and the abilityto treat patients with holistic care. The postholder will be a key member of the practice teamand will be responsible for patients either face to face or via telephoneconsultation. They will demonstrate safe,clinical decision making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosticskills, for patients within the general practice.

The role is not aregular 9am-5pm job and is not solely a patient face-to face role; the jobrequires innovation, flexibility and commitment and the postholder will be berequired to work resourcefully as part of the team to support patients withmedication compliance, to prioritise their own health needs, and interveneappropriately with complex, urgent and emergency situations.
