Job Description
Advanced Multiskilled Operative (AMO)

Salary: £37,747 - £40,423

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Wolverhampton

Workstyle: Field Job type: Permanent

Special conditions: Full and valid manual driving licence required

May be required to participate on the Out Of Hours emergency repairs rota, subject to ongoing business need, with reasonable notice being provided by the company.

Are you a skilled trades professional looking for the chance to make a positive difference every day? Our talented Advanced Multiskilled Operatives (AMOs) carry out a wide range of repairs, making a real impact on the quality, safety, and comfort of our customers' homes.

What you'll be doing

You'll use your skills across at least three core trades, such as:

  • Bricklaying
  • Carpentry
  • Plastering
  • Plumbing
Key responsibilities include
  • Delivering high quality work "right first time" with minimal disruption to customers
  • Keeping customers informed and delivering excellent service
  • Working safely, following procedures and proactively minimising risks
  • Accurately completing job records using digital systems
  • Supporting apprentices and trainees when required
  • Maintaining van stock and using tools, materials and equipment responsibly
About you

  • Do you hold a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plastering or Plumbing?
  • Do you have wide ranging experience across at least three core trade areas?
  • Do you bring a positive, can do attitude and strong communication skills?
  • Can you work independently, planning your own workload and meeting deadlines?
  • Are you committed to customer satisfaction and delivering a quality job every time?
  • Do you have a valid manual UK driving licence?
  • Are you willing to undertake further training and maintain accreditations?
