Job Description

Make every day matter. Join Cornwall Hospice Care.

Are you an experienced and compassionate Advanced Clinical Practitioner - or currently training to become one - looking to use your skills where they truly make a difference?

At Cornwall Hospice Care, we provide outstanding palliative and end-of-life care to people across Cornwall, supporting patients and their loved ones through life's most important moments. We're looking for a dedicated practitioner to join our expert multidisciplinary team and help us deliver the very best in hospice care.

About the Role

You'll work across our two hospices - Mount Edgcumbe and St Julia's - providing advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management for patients with complex needs. Acting autonomously within your professional scope, you'll play a key part in our 24/7 service, complementing the work of our doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine expert clinical practice with compassionate, person-centred care - and to help shape the future of advanced practice within hospice care in Cornwall.

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • Passionate about palliative and end-of-life care
  • Experienced in caring for patients with life limiting illnesses
  • An independent prescriber with strong, autonomous clinical decision making skills
  • Committed to collaborative, holistic care alongside our multidisciplinary team
  • Currently working as an ACP or training towards this role

"My friend was nursed so well, and had every attention during his last days. He twice asked me; who is paying for all this? and couldn't believe it was free. What a wonderful world it would be if everyone had access to this standard of care."
