Adults Social Care Solicitor

Adults Social Care Solicitor needed in Stoke on Trent, £60phPAYE - Reference:

1. To undertake all aspects of Adults social care legal work.
2. To personally manage a significant case load, including complex cases, within the specialist area.
3. To advise on sensitive and important Adult social care matters.
4. To provide legal advice and opinions as required by the client department.
5. To undertake advocacy as necessary in all courts, including the Court of Protection.
6. To attend panels / Board meetings as a specialist legal advisor or clerk, pursuant to the exercise of the local authority's functions within the specialist area.
7. To provide training to the client department on all aspects of the law relating to Adult Social Care work.
8. To demonstrate a willingness to assist in other areas of work covered by the People Legal Team.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
