ADR Driver

Manpower is recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver (Category C) to support a local delivery operation based at Freight Village, Newcastle upon Tyne.

This is a one-week temporary assignment involving local deliveries across the Newcastle area. The role is ideal for a driver looking for short-term work with consistent weekday hours and no weekend requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle safely and professionally
• Completing local deliveries across the Newcastle area
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Completing any required delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service when delivering to customers and sites
• Following all company health and safety procedures and transport regulations

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of the local Newcastle area desirable
• Reliable, professional, and punctual approach to work
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively

Role Details

• Monday to Friday only
• 8:00am start and 5:00pm finish
• £16.00 per hour
• Local delivery work
• Immediate availability required
