Hays are recruiting on behalf of a non profit organisation for an temporary part time administrator
Your new role
As an Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across a wide range of community-focused services. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will support operational delivery and ensure a high-quality, customer-focused service.Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to management and wider teams
  • Handling queries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and databases
  • Preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation
  • Arranging meetings, taking minutes, and organising schedules
  • Supporting project work and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners
  • Monitoring workloads and ensuring deadlines and performance targets are met

  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience providing high-quality customer service
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
