Tyneside Surgical Services are advertising an exciting new Administrative role.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job- Ensuring the telephones are answered promptly and assisting patients as required.
- Managing requests for appointments, so patients are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Ensuring accuracy is foremost when carrying out a variety of reception/admin related tasks and adhering to company policies, procedures and standards.
- Efficient completion of day to day tasks in a timely manner
- Filing and retrieving paperwork if appropriate.
- Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with Company processes.
- Communicating effectively and respectfully with other members of the team.
- Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested Management team or Team Leaders.
- Ensuring at the end of a shift wherever possible, that all tasks have been completed.
Tyneside Surgical Services (tss) is an independent provider of NHS care located in the North East of England. Our team dedicates itself to providing knowledgeable and integrated surgical services to patients. We carry out a number of elective surgical procedures across eight different specialties.
Established in 2007, the company has continuedto grow and has developing a day-case facility within Team Valley inGateshead. The new facility comprises of a theatre, a day-case unit,endoscopy, outpatient clinic facilities as well as having on-site MRI andultrasound scanning.

- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously and initiate / self-direct own workload but also to work as part of a team
- Good communicator (verbal and written)
- Proficient with basic IT and computer systems
