Salisbury Road Primary School is seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Administrator to join our busy school office.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a warm and professional reception service, handling enquiries in person and by phone
- Maintain accurate pupil records and support data systems (e.g. Arbor, school census)
- Support financial administration, including school meals, trips and clubs
- Manage communications with parents (letters, emails and messaging systems)
- Assist with attendance, registers and general pupil administration
- Undertake general office duties such as filing, photocopying and record-keeping
- Support safeguarding procedures and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Has previous experience working in a busy office environment (school experience desirable)
- Is confident using IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and email
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
- Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility and a positive, team-focused attitude

Salisbury Road is a two form entry primary school that serves the locality of St Judes, near the city centre. We are situated in a large, three storey, Victorian building in the heart of the community, and work closely with many local partners.
