Job Description
The Opportunity

An Administrator will join our team in Seascale. The position belongs to the Technologies Division Europe and Asia and reports to the Site Lead. The administrator will provide administrative support primarily to the Seascale and Warrington sites, and front line support for a range of QHSE activities.

This is a part time role, 31 hours per week, Monday Thursday 09 00 and Friday 09 00.

Key Responsibilities Facilities Support
  • Arrange annual maintenance for the Seascale site, in respect of air conditioning; fire alarm panel; lifting equipment; security systems and LOLER inspections
  • Maintain the performance communication hubs at Seascale
  • Arrange travel for Seascale personnel as and when requested
  • Arrange for any calibrations that are required (e.g. Precisecal, Nuvia, etc.)
  • Arrange and record planned training for Seascale personnel
  • Ensure all deliveries to Seascale are logged in and records maintained
  • Organize dispatch of goods for the Seascale site and maintain accurate records
  • Plan conferences, workshops and training, as well as support with marketing activities
  • Raise quotes for service work, spares and training
  • Record office expenditure and manage the budget
  • Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs
  • Liaise with staff, suppliers and clients
QHSE Support
  • Conduct internal audits, related to quality, safety and environmental management
  • Provide asset management support, especially safety testing and calibration, for all UK sites
  • Arrange Classified Worker medicals for the Seascale based personnel
  • Provide Q Pulse support such as data entry, record management and user queries
  • Participate in internal and external ISO audit activities
  • Ad hoc support for continual improvement projects
Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ administration or similar
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector
  • Intermediate level MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Accurate record keeper, both manually and electronically
  • Team player
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to assess priorities and work on own initiative
  • Results focused and committed to achieving deadlines
  • Hands on approach
  • Good written and oral communication skills
