As a key member, you will be the face of Howards Accountants for clients, communicating via various channels including face to face, software, and email.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting clients in the office and establishing their needs
  • Taking client calls and emails and responding accordingly
  • Booking client records into software and requesting missing information
  • Using a variety of software to ensure compliance
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Scanning correspondence, service address and working papers
  • Updating and managing client records, including phone numbers, emails, deadlines, personal information
  • Ad hoc tasks as requested

Requirements:

  • Experience using Xero is preferred
  • Experience in using Outlook, Excel, and cloud based software is essential
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Be highly efficient and organised
  • Team player and have a good rapport with the clients
  • The ideal candidate should be self motivated and able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Perform tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm (this is an in person office based position; you must be within a commutable location to our Camborne office).
