Job Description

Job Role: Administrator (Ocean Parking)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00am - 17:00pm (35 hours per week)

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Anchor Group Services - Carlton House, Chester Business Park, CH4 9QE

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Anchor Group Services to contribute to our successful Ocean Parking Team. Due to the continued expansion of our parking division, we are looking to grow our team and are currently seeking an experienced administrator to join us during this exciting expansion.

As an administrator you will support the internal and external interactions of assisting the operatives who work across the parking portfolio and providing customer assistance to members of the public. You will receive the training you need to succeed and grow within the division to become a professional administrator meeting company and customer expectations. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working individually and as part of a team, to complete a wide variety of daily duties.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the business by ensuring all communication is managed to the highest level.
  • Answering incoming calls and responding quickly and efficiently to emails.
  • Replying to informal and formal representations submitted by motorists in relation to Parking Charge Notices (PCNs).
  • Capturing data, updating information, and keeping accurate records.
  • Logging incoming mail against the relevant cases.
  • Registering resident and business site permits.
  • Assisting with payment plans; processing cheques and card payments.
  • Providing general advice to members of the public in writing and over the telephone relating to the PCN process.
  • Updating internal software and systems.
Requirements
  • A high standard of data processing skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Very good prioritisation and time management skills to balance key priorities.
  • An excellent telephone manner and both written and verbal communication skills are key.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel.

Full training will be given to enable you to quickly and efficiently complete daily responsibilities, whilst maintaining a very high standard of professionalism at all times.

The ideal candidate will be self motivated and proactive in identifying and improving systems and procedures.
