Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Operational Administrator to join our team working at Gallagher Quarry in Maidstone (ME16 9NT). This role plays an important part in supporting the smooth day to day running of site operations, ensuring that administration, documentation, and quality processes are managed efficiently and accurately.

You'll work closely with operational teams on site, helping to maintain high standards of organisation, compliance, and communication, while supporting the delivery of works in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Managing day to day administrative tasks to support site operations
  • Maintaining and updating documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
  • Supporting document control processes, ensuring all files are stored, tracked, and easily accessible
  • Assisting with quality control administration, ensuring documentation aligns with project and company standards
  • Coordinating information between site teams, office teams, and external stakeholders
  • Preparing reports, data records, and general correspondence as required
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and supporting audit requirements
  • Supporting the wider team with general administration and coordination activities
Qualifications

You have a strong background in administration, ideally within a construction, engineering, or operational environment, and are confident managing documentation in a fast paced setting. Experience with document control processes and an understanding of quality control requirements would be highly beneficial.

You will be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Strong communication skills are important, as you'll be working with a range of colleagues across site and office teams.

You should be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications, and comfortable handling data and documentation accurately. A proactive approach, willingness to support the wider team, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively will be key to success in this role.
