Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:

To carry out a range of administrative tasks in relation to the day to day running of the practices administration.

Main duties of the job
  • Deal with all incoming patient related documents. To read code clinical documents.
  • To summarise patient records.
  • To undertake any other administrative tasks required by the practice.
About us

We are a busy town centre GP Practice. We have a part time vacancy for a Practice Administrator . Experience of working in a GP surgery is desirable but not essential as training will be given

Job responsibilities

To carry out a range of administrativetasks in relation to the day to day running of the practices administration.

Person Specification Experience
  • Practical experience of working with others.
  • Experience of using own initiative.
  • Experience of working within Administration and or General Practice reception environment.
  • Practical experience of computerised recording systems.
Qualifications
  • Good standard of general education
  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
  • Literacy and Numeracy Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
  • General qualifications in administration.
