Package Description

As an Administrator at HMP Chelmsford in the HCRG Care Group you will receive a salary of £26,118.40 per annum, group pension, free tea, coffee and milk, membership to My Reward Hub, early wage access, mental and physical wellbeing support, eLearning, and a culture encouraging innovation.

Main responsibilities
  • Manage internal clinics, booking appointments and liaising with clinicians.
  • Book external hospital appointments for patients referred to secondary care.
  • Request and obtain medical information from patients and community GPs, ensuring timely acquisition.
  • Provide medical records in compliance with GDPR.
  • Receive and code safeguarding information/requests and record action with deadlines.
  • Monitor phone lines and respond to queries.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings, send invitations, track responses and take minutes.
  • Order and maintain equipment/supplies.
  • Collate basic information in response to requests.
Schedule

Monday to Friday - 9 am to 5:30 pm (40 hours per week). Parking is not available on site; nearby car parks are within walking distance.

Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy
  • Competent IT skills - Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload
  • Effective time management and initiative
  • Experience working in healthcare (desirable) and using SystemOne (desirable)
