Job Description
Administrative Support Officer

OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated and organised administrator to join the Chief Executive's Office. You will provide flexible business, project and administrative support across a portfolio of corporate meetings and governance functions that help oversee how we operate as an organisation.
Main duties of the job- Provide high-quality administrative and coordination support within the Chief Executive's Office.
- Support formal meetings and corporate governance processes, including preparing papers, agendas, and action tracking.
- Manage diaries, correspondence, and enquiries for senior colleagues, ensuring a professional and responsive service.
- Maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation, while supporting reports, projects and service improvement work.
- Build effective working relationships across the Trust and provide flexible cross cover within the team.
- Five GCSE passes (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience collating information for reports and business documents.
- Experience effectively managing a complex workload involving a number of concurrent deadlines and projects.
- Experience providing administrative support at Executive / Director Group level.
- Experience working in NHS or another complex public sector environment.
- Good understanding of confidentiality, information governance, and data protection principles.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including where information is sensitive or confidential.
- Ability to prioritise workload and reorganise tasks in response to changing demands; ability to maintain resilience when working under pressure.
- Demonstrates a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible approach, with a drive for delivering outcomes and continuous improvement, and sharing good practice and learning.
- Demonstrates willingness to embrace new ways of working, including the use of Artificial Intelligence.
- Demonstrates high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work autonomously, acting on own initiative and judgement, while also being able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
