Job Description
Administrative Services Officer - Belfast
Join a leading public sector organisation as an Administrative Services Officer in Belfast and play a key part in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of administrative functions are provided within your assigned team.
About the role:
- £14.06 per hour
- Linenhall Street, Belfast
- 37.5 hours per week
- Temporary for 3 months with possibility of extension
- Immediate start

What you'll be doing in this role:
- To be responsible for ensuring all staff training within the team is fully completed.
- To hold responsibility for ensuring adherence to the relevant information Governance procedures and policies.
- To be responsible for the development, input management and maintenance of the databases for revenue and capital business cases.
- To liaise with the Co-Director and Senior Managers in relation to the delegation of any requests for information received from the Department of Health or Northern Ireland Assembly and to ensure that responses required are reviewed and submitted within the agreed timeline.
- To establish and maintain effective communication systems within the team and other directorates both internal and external.
- To develop, organise, manage and maintain secure filing systems both manually and electronically in line with Good Management/Good Records guidelines and office standards.
What you'll need for this role:
- 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (grades A-C) or equivalent and 18 months experience in a relevant admin/clerical role. OR,
- 3 years relevant experience in an admin/clerical role. AND,
- 2 years' experience in high level word processing (report writing, spreadsheet maintenance etc.)
- Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
