Job Description

Admin Officer - Home Office

Office based

Pay: £14.27 per hour

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, 37 hrs per week

Location: Corby NN18 8EY

Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Admin Officer.

Candidates must drive. Free onsite parking available - office is not accessible by train/bus.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Complete validation checks
  • Complete quality assurance checks
  • Escalate referrals when fraud or forgery is suspected
  • Forward QAs (quality assurance), no tasks, and enhanced checks to OTLs
  • Consult / support with the SVS operator on validation checks
  • Complete revalidations for examiners
  • Report feedback for SVS
Training

No annual leave during training period.

Three days of the training period will take place at the Peterborough Office - travel costs will be reimbursed through expenses.

Clearance Level

Basic DBS + CTC (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application).

Role Specific Requirements

You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 3 years. Period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 3 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
