Job Description
Position Overview

Fortrea's Clinical Research Unit in Leeds is seeking a Clinical Trial Participant Recruitment Administrative Coordinator. The role supports our clinical operations team by managing participant eligibility, screening data, and quality control for participant recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Clinical Operations team in participant recruitment, ensuring correct eligibility for clinical trials.
  • Prepare and collate screening data to enable the selection of quality subjects for specific studies.
  • Act as the focal point for post screening data queries from internal teams and external clients.
  • Streamline daily collection and presentation of participants' laboratory results to investigators for review.
  • Determine panels of eligible and standby subjects based on completed data from physicians.
  • Conduct daily quality control of screening Case Report Forms (CRF).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, record keeping, and archiving of screening data, tests, and measurement results.
  • Ensure ethical and medical confidentiality of volunteer records, storing them securely with restricted access.
  • Optimize clinic screening capacity to achieve the maximum number of participants for check in each day.
  • Communicate with participants and coordinate the callback process for subjects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Experience in clinical trials, laboratory, hospital, or a similar setting is an advantage, but not essential.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow through.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to liaise and manage communication flow between multiple teams and projects.
Work Conditions

Bank (0 hours) position; office based at the Drapers Yard Clinical Research Unit, 7 minute walk from the train station. Shifts are scheduled Monday Sunday and may include weekends, twilight, and night shifts. During busier periods, you may work up to 37 hours per week, with hours varying week to week based on operational needs.
