Fixed Term, Term Time Only

Grade 4 (Spine Point 7 - 11)

Salary £26,403 - £28,142 (FTE)

Actual Salary £22,710 - £24,206

37 Hours / 44.85 weeks paid

REQUIRED TO START: July 2026 or 1st September 2026

St Benedict Biscop CE Primary School is a warm, welcoming and community minded school situated in Wombourne, Staffordshire. We are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant for our small friendly school. This is to cover our existing Administrative Assistant for maternity leave of up to 12 months. You will play an integral part in providing administrative support to the whole school, as well as acting as the first point of contact for parents and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the whole school.
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents and visitors.
  • Support the school office in day-to-day operations.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working in a school office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills; able to prioritise workloads, use initiative and have a flexible "can do" approach to work.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Forms, Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Bromcom MIS system would be advantageous.
  • Committed to full communication with job share partner to ensure smooth running of the office.
