Band 3 Administration Assistant - Part time, fixed term maternity cover, 26 hours a week (equivalent to 3.5 days a week) for 12 months.

We are searching for a proactive, dynamic individual who enjoys patient care and thrives in a busy, multi disciplinary team environment. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a high quality outpatient service at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear and Eastman Dental Division.

Person Specification Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with Grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, acquired through training and/or previous experience in an administrative environment.
  • Aware of the requirement to maintain confidentiality and knowledgeable of the Data Protection Act.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service, Healthcare Support Services or equivalent qualification.
Experience
  • Experience of working in a non routine environment, with demonstrable evidence of responding to queries and dealing with unpredictable situations as they arise.
  • Experience of working in an administrative environment, with knowledge of a comprehensive range of administrative procedures.

Salary

£30,546 to £32,207 a year (per annum inclusive of HCAS pro rata).
