Permanent

22 hours per week

Term time only with no term time leave

The Governing Body seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Administrator to join our dedicated team at Ysgol Bwlchgwyn C.P.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, senior staff and wider school team to provide high-­quality administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office. They will act as the first point of contact for parents/carers, pupils, staff and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional environment.

The role will include a wide range of duties such as reception duties, responding to telephone and face-­to-­face enquiries, maintaining manual and computerised records, producing reports and correspondence, supporting school communications, assisting with trips and events, and undertaking routine financial administration.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Be confident in the use of ICT systems and office software
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work efficiently, accurately and manage a varied workload
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Have experience of general clerical or administrative work
  • Show a commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection

Experience of working in a school environment and knowledge of school systems would be desirable.
