Job Description
Admin Officer - Tribunal Hearing Centre

Location: London EC14 4QU
Working Days / Hours: Mon-Fri 37 hours
Working Pattern: Fully office based 9am - 5pm
Pay Rate: £13.36

Our Client is hiring within a Tribunal Hearing Centre - helping ensure hearings are properly prepared, supported and delivered, while customers feel listened to and clearly guided.

What you'll be doing:
  • Undertake administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate and support the smooth running of hearing activity
  • Provide support and signposting to users and stakeholders via face-to-face conversations, incoming/outgoing telephone contact, and correspondence in a range of formats
  • Use service scripts and knowledge articles to direct queries to the right support, ensuring clear, consistent information for all users (including those with complex needs)
  • Follow complaints processes and procedures-responding promptly where needed and updating OPTIC as required
  • Support operational delivery by processing work using standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and service standards
  • Handle case files with accurate data entry, secure information management, and compliance with retention/data loss protocols
  • Manage jury service administration (selection, deferral, reassignment and attendance tracking), including processing related expenses and court fees
  • Assist with listing and scheduling, supporting urgent matters and adhering to listing policies
  • Contribute to enforcement support, including financial assessments, aiding fine collection, and producing basic statistical/financial reports
  • Support health & safety activities (PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging, and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
What we are looking for:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong administrative and clerical skills, including accurate data entry, document preparation and email management

You'll be supported by team guidance, including operational procedures and team leader oversight for health & safety activities.
