Job Description

A well established and growing business based in Ware is looking to recruit a proactive and organised Admin Assistant to support its busy office team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys a varied role and is confident using Sage.

This wholly office based position would suit someone looking for a part time opportunity, working approximately 20-25 hours per week across flexible weekdays, with a salary of £28,000-£30,000 pro rata.

About the Role

As Admin Assistant, you will provide day to day administrative support across the business, ensuring the smooth running of office operations and helping maintain excellent customer service standards. The Admin Assistant will support finance administration using Sage, coordinate office documentation, manage incoming enquiries, and assist with general business administration. The successful Admin Assistant will enjoy working in a collaborative environment, have excellent attention to detail, and be confident managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing invoices, purchase orders, and payments using Sage
  • Supporting with basic bookkeeping and finance administration
  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and company databases
  • Assisting with order processing and updating internal systems
  • Coordinating office supplies and general office administration
  • Preparing documents, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Supporting senior management with ad hoc administrative duties
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers regarding orders and account queries
  • Assisting with scheduling deliveries, appointments, and meetings
