Admin / Customer Service Advisor - Motor Garage

Location: Grays

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (DOE)

A busy and well established motor garage in the Grays area is looking for a reliable and organised Admin / Customer Service Advisor to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with previous garage experience who can confidently manage customer enquiries, bookings, and day to day admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling incoming calls and customer enquiries in a professional, friendly manner
  • Booking vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, and repairs
  • Managing daily administrative duties and maintaining accurate records
  • Creating and managing online listings on eBay
  • Processing orders and updating internal systems
  • Keeping customers informed regarding vehicle progress, updates, and collections
  • Supporting the workshop team with general coordination
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a motor garage is essential
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Confident using computers and online platforms (including eBay and Amazon)
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
  • Friendly, approachable manner with a customer first mindset
