Brief Outline of Responsibilities:

Essential Requirements;

  • To undertake a range of administrative processes to support the management of students with SEND including but not limited to student support meetings, EHCP processes and Exam Access Arrangement's
  • To provide administrative support for the Additional Support Team at Bedford College
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills

Quals & Education

  • Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
  • English and maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent

Vetting

  • Child and Workforce Enhanced DBS. A current and valid DBS under the Agency/on the Update Service. If Update Check, to provide the evidence of this check in addition to the DBS certificate linked to the service.
  • Complete set of references to cover the past 3 years (and last employment worked with children if this was prior to this).
  • RTW evidence.
  • Proof of Address
  • Confirmation of online search.
  • Confirmation of health check - placement is Fit to Work.
  • Confirmation of overseas check, if relevant. If not, to confirm N/A.
  • Teacher Prohibition check and confirmation clear.
  • Employment history from school - With all gaps in employment accounted for
