The King's School, Canterbury is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Activities Leaders to support our 2026 Summer School programmes. Welcoming students aged 8-17 from the UK and around the world, the Summer School blends academic learning with a co-curricular programme designed to inspire confidence, connection, and personal growth.
As an Activities Leader, you will play a central role in shaping students' experience outside the classroom. You will plan and deliver a varied schedule of sports, arts, team-building and evening activities, ensure all students feel engaged, supported, and included, supervise off-site excursions, and foster a positive atmosphere throughout. Pastoral care is an essential aspect of the role, including being a friendly and reassuring presence in our boarding houses and supporting students' wellbeing during their stay.
We are looking for personable, responsible, and proactive individuals with experience working with children or young people. A background in sports, arts, outdoor activities, or residential settings is desirable.
Residential accommodation and meals are provided for all summer staff.
The post will be closed once we have appointed to the positions; early applications are advised.
