Activities Lead

Majesticare are looking for a passionate and organised Activities Lead to join our team. This is a rewarding role where you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure that residents' wellbeing is always prioritised and that happiness is felt throughout the home.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, suppliers and external professionals. Working collaboratively as part of a team is essential, while also being confident to take initiative and work independently.

You will be a motivated and highly organised individual who takes pride in delivering engaging and meaningful activities. A genuine passion for creating experience that enhance residents' quality of life and maintaining excellent standards within activity provision is key to this role.

As Activities Lead, you will have a varied and rewarding role creating a vibrant and engaging environment for residents. We are looking for a passionate, supportive and motivated individual with strong team leadership skills and a genuine commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing.

You will take the time to get to know residents, including their life history, interests and hobbies, so you can support them to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. You will also work closely with colleagues, families and the local community to ensure residents remain connected and the home continues to feel at the heart of the community.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering a full and varied activities programme
• Adapting activities to meet residents' interests, needs and wishes
• Encouraging independence, participation and enjoyment
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and the wider team
• Supporting links with the local community to create meaningful opportunities for residents
• Ensuring all activities follow Majesticare policies and procedures

You will have a strong understanding of communication and confidentiality, ensuring residents' personal information is always respected and protected.
