ResponsibilitiesPlanning and implementing the kinds of activities that will delight our Residents.
Helping the Home Manager to organise essential fundraising events.
Giving our Residents confidence to socialise more effectively, creating new activity ideas based on Residents' hobbies, and getting the rest of the care home team involved - all with a sense of kindness above all else.
Ensuring activities are delivered safely and that any concerns are reported appropriately.
QualificationsBackground working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
Great planning, organisational and IT skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
Natural ability to get along with people and a positive, considerate attitude when communicating with Residents or co-workers.
SafeguardingRecognise the signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. Appropriate advice can be sought and concerns can be reported, including escalation if action is not taken.
