We are looking for an Accuracy Checking Technician Team Leader.

Main Responsibilities

To contribute to the growth and success of the company through ensuring KPI and quality parameters are executed and completed in the Validation function. Ensure full oversight of the Accuracy checking team and their associated tasks, providing necessary training, support and motivation to develop a team capable of delivering exceptional standards. Tasks change frequently to satisfy the ever-evolving demands, requiring versatility and a flair for adaptability. In addition to this, a positive response to pressure in a dynamic working environment.

  • Lead, Motivate and coach team members to ensure maximum performance in accuracy and volume.
  • To ensure prescriptions are processed in line with SOPs.
  • To ensure the operational software systems and equipment are used in accordance with the guidance given.
  • Tasks may include but are not limited to Final accuracy checking, Validation, Automated Labelling unit quarantine checks, dispensing and supervision of the team members in relation to the above tasks.
  • To provide regular evaluation and feedback on performance to help maximise improvements and efficiencies.
  • To carry out a training needs analysis, identifying colleagues for further development as part of the succession planning process.
  • Assist the Assistant Dispensary Managers in completion of the daily workload, as required. Ensure the team's workload is distributed and rotated equally and managed/reviewed. Re-prioritise workload as required to achieve department/team service levels.
  • To ensure compliance within KPI targets set for the department.
  • Ensure timely processing of orders, trouble shooting issues and escalating to the appropriate team/colleague, Follow-up on issue until resolution and review incident to avoid further occurrences.
  • Adhere to all HR policies and procedures and all current security procedures to ensure the safekeeping of all company and customer property and all statutory and company regulations.
  • Capture, Record and resolve all customer complaints relating to all elements of the business in a professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and improve business processes within the team.
  • Input into cross-functional projects to deliver future improvements to HealthNet's service offering.
  • Contribute to process revision - creation of additional company documentation to support building and understanding of processes.
What experience and skills are we looking for?
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a pharmacy environment at supervisory level.
  • Proven track record of achieving activity targets.
Qualifications:
  • GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician with ACT accreditation.
