Accounts Technician - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a professional services organisation in Belfast as they recruit an Accounts Technician on a full time, permanent basis.

This role suits a proactive self-starter who can work independently and effectively manage their workload. Once up to speed, you will be given autonomy within the role and avail from a range of benefits.

The Rewards:

As the successful Accounts Technician you will receive:

• Salary: £35,000-37,000
• Parking on site
• 29 days holiday

The Role:

Reporting to the Directors job duties of the Accounts Technician will include:

• Maintain purchase ledger and project records, process supplier payments.
• Raise sales invoices and credit notes. Manage credit control
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of Vat UK, CIS, ROI Vat and Interstate returns
• Manage office supplies
• Any other duties outlined on the job description

The Person:

The successful Accounts Technician will meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience in a working in a similar industry role
• Comfortable looking after accounts independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
