Job Description
Accounts Payable Team Leader (2 Positions) 
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AP professional looking to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, supporting operations across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
The RoleReporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the Accounts Payable function, leading a team while ensuring best-in-class processes, controls, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team
- Oversee the end-to-end AP process including invoice processing, approvals, payments and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requirements
- Manage month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Partner with procurement and project teams to ensure efficient workflows
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimisation initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics across the AP function
- Strong experience leading an Accounts Payable team
- Background in a fast-paced, high-volume or multinational environment
- Solid understanding of AP processes, controls and compliance
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, COINS, Basware)
- Knowledge of VAT and construction-related taxes (RCT/CIS advantageous)
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, priorities and stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
