Job Description
- Lead and manage the audit and accounts department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Provide strategic direction and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Review and approve financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for business development and growth within the department.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the practice remains compliant and competitive.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts & Audit Director should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA).
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
