Accounts Clerk and Administration

Preston Toyota is seeking an Accounts Clerk & Administrator to join our team. This position supports a busy administration and finance function across multiple automotive sites within a shared services environment. Working alongside a dynamic administration team, the role contributes to accurate processing, efficient workflows, and strong internal collaboration.

Reporting to departmental leadership, the position suits someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and enjoys supporting others with a view to grow in this team. Success in this role comes from a willingness to learn, a proactive mindset, and alignment with values focused on integrity, inclusiveness, ownership, and agility.

What you will be doing:

• Process EFT payments and banking transactions accurately
• Process various financier and external payments/refunds
• Support new and used deal processing
• Support AP and AR functions
• Assist with reconciliations weekly and for EOM
• Support the wider administration and finance teams to improve efficiency
• Complete ad hoc tasks as directed by department leadership

What you need:

• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of automotive industry processes highly regarded
