Office Based, Derbyshire

Your new role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of the full sales ledger cycle-from quotations through to invoicing and payment-while delivering excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role where you'll help maintain healthy cash flow, support clients throughout their journey, and drive continuous improvement in finance processes.
The position is fully office-based with flexible working hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm), offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in sales ledger and credit control, ideally in a service or technical setting
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a professional, customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 and Microsoft Excel
  • A mindset for continuous improvement and process optimisation
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience in quoting, billing for time/parts/labour, or engineering (desirable)
