Job Description:We are seeking a meticulous and organised Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic team in a well-known Belfast Estate Agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on purchase ledger activities and will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile a high volume of purchase invoices.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier accounts.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to the purchase ledger.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

  • Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger/ finance role.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
