Accounts Apprentice

Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Retailer Accountant, duties will include the following:
- Checking and re allocating nominal postings
- Coding of Purchase Invoices
- Credit Control
- Completing and checking of mileage logs
- Ledger Maintenance - ensuring Sales and Purchase Ledgers are tidy
- Initiating Monthly Run and paying Inter Company Accounts
- Checking and allocating Manufacturer commission
- Stock counts
- Responsible for Petty Cash
- Daily Banking
The successful candidate will also assist with sales administration duties, and full training will be provided on site.
QualificationAssociation of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3.
Applicants must possess the following- GCSEs grades 4 or above in English & Maths.
- Team player
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to operate well under pressure
- 33 days holiday a year (inclusive of Bank Holidays), plus an extra day off on your birthday
