Job Description
Accounts and Administration Manager Swindon Monday - Friday - 07.45am - 4.45pm Permanent Salary is dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Administrator Manager to join our client based in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities: General Finance Administration
  • Extensive knowledge and comprehension of Sage 50 accounting software
  • Maintain accurate supplier and client account records
  • Ensure all purchase orders are up-to-date and correct
  • Monitor and maintain records of bad debts and retentions
  • Complete bank reconciliations and allocate transactions correctly
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports
  • Processing new customer accounts and background credit checks
Administration & Ad Hoc Duties
  • Build a good working relationship with suppliers
  • Daily managing, processing and recording job cards as requested by the sales team
  • Proactively manage sourcing, contracting and compliance for all direct goods and service provisions, embedding a best in class procurement governance framework
  • Organising and processing import and export of goods
  • Organising dispatch of domestic goods
  • Assist in processing monthly reports
  • Experience in managing and keeping up to date with accreditation such as ISO-9001, VCA, etc.
The Person
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounts-based role
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage50 accounting software
  • Good Excel skills and general IT proficiency
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident communicator who can work independently and within a team
  • Free on-site parking
