Accounting Technician - Lisburn

Accounting Technician immediately required to work with our client the NI Fire & Rescue Service. This role will be based at their head office in Lisburn and the successful candidate will be working as part of the Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the financial operations of one of Northern Ireland's most essential public services.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 36.25 hours per week with a pay rate of £19.72 per hour. This role is for a minimum of 6 months with a strong possibility of an extension.

As an Accounting Technician, you will support the Finance function and some of main duties are Preparing and processing financial transactions and journals, Assisting in budget monitoring and financial reporting,Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate records,

Supporting audit processes and year-end procedures ,Ensuring compliance with public sector financial policies and procedures.

What We Need From You
- 5 GCSE's grades A -C including Math and English
- 2 years experience working in a Finance environment
- Fully qualified Accounting Technician , with a full membership of a recognised body (i.e. AAT/ATI)
