Accounting Manager

An Accounting Manager / Finance Manager / Accounting Lead is required to join an industry leader in League City, TX.

The successful Accounting Manager / Finance Manager / Accounting Lead will have 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience, with expertise in payables, receivables, payroll, project billing, and QuickBooks.

Accounting Manager / Finance Manager / Accounting Lead Responsibilities:

• General accounting organization
• Payables management
• Receivables management
• Fixed Asset accounting
• Check runs
• Manage Payroll
• Timesheets, expense reports, and receipts
• Commissions
• Project, Warranty, Parts, and Service Billing
• Cash flow management and investment recommendations
• Close communication with HQ in Germany
• Human Resources (onboarding and offboarding)
• Month/year-end reports
• Audits
• Team leadership: Manage and supervise a small team of 2 accounting staff members

Accounting Manager / Finance Manager / Accounting Lead Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant
• Strong background in payables and receivables management
• Experience with payroll processing, including timesheets, expense reports, and commissions
• Knowledge of project billing, including warranty, parts, and service billing
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Experience with cash flow management and financial reporting
• Ability to handle month-end and year-end closing processes
• Team leadership or supervisory experience in accounting or finance roles
