Accounting Director or Partner - Top Accountancy Practice
Location: Newcastle
Are you a Senior Manager in practice ready to take the next step in your career?
We're working with a leading independent accountancy firm that's growing fast and looking for a new Accounting Director or Partner to join their Newcastle office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious firm with a strong focus on people, culture and client experience. With a strong team of over 500 staff, Newcastle is a key hub for this firm
The Role- Manage and grow a portfolio of loyal business clients
- Lead client meetings and act as their trusted advisor
- Oversee and sign off accounts and tax returns
- Mentor and support your team to reach their potential
- Contribute to business development and strategic growth
- Play a key role in recruitment and team development
We're looking for someone who is:
- ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified
- Currently working at Senior Manager level in practice
- Experienced in preparing statutory and non-statutory accounts
- Confident in UK taxes including personal, corporation, VAT and capital
- A strong communicator and natural relationship builder
- Ready to step into a leadership role
- Full UK driving licence required
- Up to 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (option to buy more)
