Position Overview

Location: Swindon

Qualification: Level 3 Assistant Accountant or Level 4 Professional Accounting

Start Date: September 2026

Responsibilities

Your role could involve:

• Assisting with month and year-end financial processes and reporting
• Delivering financial analysis to stakeholders
• Utilising financial systems to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial information
• Involvement in forecasting and planning activities to provide insight to the business on future outlooks
• Collaborating with customers and stakeholders to deliver services that meet their needs, ensuring a positive outcome for all
• Driving continuous improvement activity and participating in projects to enhance processes, systems, and service delivery

Qualifications

Required qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English
• Grade C or above in at least 3 A-levels including a numerical subject (Maths, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or Accounting) for the Level 4 Apprenticeship
• Due to government restrictions, permanent right to reside and work in the UK and must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years
• A professional attitude with a positive 'can do' approach to work
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships
• Attention to detail and a curious nature
• Note: Applicants who have completed a qualification in the same field at the same or higher level to the course are not eligible.
• Level 3 Assistant Accountant including AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting
• Level 4 Professional Accounting Technician Apprenticeship including a qualification from CIMA, ACCA or AAT in Accounting
