Accountant

GRS Recruitment is working with a well-established company in Limassol that is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting the smooth running of the finance function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and update accounting records, including posting invoices and financial transactions
• Manage AR processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with local regulations
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Manage creditor accounts and process supplier payments
• Execute bank payments and ensure accurate recording of transactions
• Assist with month-end procedures, reporting, and other finance-related tasks as required

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in an accounting or similar finance role
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with VAT returns and account reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Hours: 8.30am-5pm (Mon-Thur) and 8.30am-2.30pm (Fri)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Fluent in Greek and English

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• €20,000 - €30,000 Gross Per Annum.
