A well-established accountancy practice based in Farnham is seeking a qualified Practice Accountantto manage a diverse portfolio of clients. Are you an ACA or ACCA-qualified accountant with experience in a UK-based independent practice? We're looking for someone confident, versatile, and client-focused to manage a broad portfolio-from sole traders to owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, SMEs, and owner-managed businesses (FRS 102/105)
  • Manage VAT and CIS returns and liaise with HMRC
  • Produce management accounts and cash flow forecasts
  • Support payroll and pensions compliance
  • Handle client queries and provide practical, timely advice
  • Identify improvements in client accounting systems and controls

What you'll need to succeed
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)
  • Experience in a UK-based small practice environment
  • Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing a broad client portfolio
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
