For our client in the engineering sector, we are looking for a hands-on experienced accountant.

What are your responsibilities?

• Purchasing - Process invoices and expenses, liaise with suppliers, ensure approvals and compliance
• Invoicing - Follow up on client payments and flag anomalies
• Treasury - Enter bank transactions, verify IBANs, and prepare payment batches
• Closings & Audit - Support monthly closings, book provisions, and assist with audits
• Tax & Compliance - Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings
• Team Support - Collaborate with departments and handle accounting-related queries

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of Belgian tax and VAT regulations
• Experience in monthly closings and audit preparation is a plus
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with professional English
• Reliable, accurate, and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset
• Strong client service attitude and team player
