Account Manager (Agency) (full-time, 6 weeks with the strong chance of extending contract)

Overview

We're seeking a freelance PR Account Manager for a large global PR agency, initially for a 6-week contract, with a strong likelihood to extend. You can work in the office, hybrid, or fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Support a large telecommunications brand for event work at the Mobile World Congress, including events in Kigali, Las Vegas, Doha and Barcelona (largest proportion of time).
• Provide media relations support for another global telecoms business (focused on cybersecurity and vertical industry activity - retail, manufacturing, entertainment/stadiums).
• Contribute to creative campaign work and proactive pitching around mobile phone theft and protection for a major player in the insure-tech space.
• Work with tech B2B clients to understand technical storytelling quickly; adapt to a corporate environment if strong media contacts are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with tech B2B clients and ability to quickly grasp technical storytelling.
• Strong media relations and pitching skills, with relevant contacts to drive results.
• Flexible to travel as required for events (Mobile World Congress and related locations).
