Job Title - Account Manager - Business Travel

Salary -Up to £30kbased on experience

Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. In the role you will need to retain existing business and develop new opportunities with current clients by consistent monitoring of customer booking patterns and trends, reviewing client development plans and ensuring service provision is in line with any new requirements.

You must demonstrate a successful track record of account management over a period of time as well as the ability to successfully work on your own in an autonomous role.

To apply for the role you must have a proven ability and track record to generate revenue through partnerships or through customer focused initiatives from an Account Management background.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow existing account base
  • Drive sales within existing accounts with an element of new business development
  • Monitor account performance to identify any unexpected changes (positive or negative)
  • Conduct regular client review meetings, maintaining accurate records and ensure forward action points are carried out
  • Prepare reports and documentation for presentation at client meetings
  • Ensure client participation in loyalty programmes where appropriate
  • Liaising with industry suppliers to ensure best possible purchase opportunities

  • Educational / Travel Sales Background
  • Outstanding partner service focus and attention to detail to receive interpret and manage partner's requests and challenges
  • Analytical skills and results oriented
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Great time management skills
  • Be able to work pro-actively on your own initiative and the ability to establish relationships and influence decision makers at all levels
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of large and small accounts
  • The ability to work with and maintain highly confidential/ sensitive data
