Job Description
Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Customer Engagement: Understand the needs, priorities, and strategies of Welsh Government and Local Government. Deliver insights to address their business strategies and build long-term value. Proactively elevate relationships across multiple organizational levels, including political reach, considering the bigger picture and employing creative problem-solving.
  2. Business Relationship Owner: Define the strategic vision and lead transformation efforts with political, CxO, Digital, and Business Decision Makers. Demonstrate leadership and challenge conventional thinking to ensure customer success.
  3. Team Mobiliser and Orchestrator: Navigate Microsoft systems and collaborate across functions and ecosystems to maximize customer value. Engage with stakeholders from exec sponsors to product experts to provide comprehensive support.
  4. Sales Leader and Operational Excellence: Drive results by understanding digital transformation drivers and customer priorities. Identify opportunities and facilitate accelerated digital adoption, achieving revenue and consumption targets.
  5. Sales Challenger: Enhance industry and technical knowledge. Present innovative solutions and benchmarks to C-level executives to improve efficiencies and satisfaction.
  6. Strong Communicator: Articulate complex problems and solutions clearly and impactfully.
  7. Inclusive Leader: Foster an inclusive culture that embraces diversity. Build trust-based relationships through collaboration and communication.
  8. Key Player: Lead by example, striving for excellence and taking a leadership role within the team without direct management responsibilities.
Qualifications
  1. Passion for working with Welsh government and a deep understanding of Wales' challenges. Politician connections and reach to leverage Microsoft's platform for outcomes.
  2. Ability to translate complex scenarios into actionable outcomes for customers and businesses.
  3. Experience in board-level engagement, inspiring change through technology in government scenarios.
  4. Proven ability to lead virtual teams without direct management, creating clarity from competing priorities.
